BirdScribe turns what you say in the field into a ready-to-import eBird checklist. Trailblazers are the first birders in each region teaching it their local bird names, so it works as well in Sussex or Minnesota as it does in Cairns.
Speak your birds, correct what it mishears, and your corrections become the built-in names every birder in your region starts with.
How it works
- Bird as normal and speak what you see.
- Correct anything it gets wrong. It learns your phrasing on the spot.
- Export your learned names and send them in. The good ones become your region's defaults.
Every region needs many voices. The app learns each birder's way of speaking, so no region is ever finished.

What it involves, honestly
Bird normally with the app. A few corrections per walk, the occasional screenshot when something looks wrong, and an exported learned-names file when you have a decent batch.
